Hello, my name is Yolanda, and for the past decade, I’ve been passionately crafting dishes that bring people together. From intimate dinners to grand celebrations, I specialize in creating bespoke menus tailored to each client’s unique tastes and needs.
Most recently, I had the honor of catering a wedding for 150 guests, a delightful challenge that showcased my versatility and dedication. My culinary journey has been diverse and enriching, allowing me to wear many hats. I’ve been a private chef on a remote island, where I relied solely on the freshest local ingredients. I’ve experienced authentic Malaysian cuisine while working at a cooking school in Penang, honed my skills in some of New Zealand’s finest South Island restaurants, and catered to vibrant crowds at music festivals across the UK and Ireland.
I believe that great food should be fresh, tasty, and nutritious. Simplicity is often the key, but I also enjoy creating more adventurous dishes. I understand that everyone has different preferences and dietary goals, whether it’s a simpler palate or specific health objectives. As a good listener, I collaborate closely with clients to design dishes that not only satisfy but delight. I’m always open to experimenting with new recipes and exploring diverse cuisines—cooking is a continuous learning journey that I love.
My expertise spans traditional British cuisine, Asian fusion, and vegan and vegetarian dishes. Through extensive travel and working alongside talented chefs worldwide, I’ve gathered a wealth of influences that I joyfully share with my clients.
